Gargaar Relief Development Organization (GREDO) is a local non-profit, non-governmental humanitarian and development organization with its Headquarters in Baidoa and have sub-offices across south central Somalia. GREDO focuses so much on aspects of emergency, humanitarian responses and development/resilience programmes.

What We Do

GREDOs programmatic themes includes education, Health, WASH, livelihoods, Environmental management and governance with a focus on
human rights, access to justice, women empowerment and protection of
the vulnerable communities anv individuals especially IDPs, refugees and
returnees.

GREDO PROGRAMMES.

GREDO provides basic primary health care including reproductive, community and communicable health services. With Health Education Sessions.
Clean Water
GREDO believes and works in the provision of clean drinking water which is a basic “human rights” and the most elements in life.
Food Security and Livelihood
GREDO works in rebuilding the livelihoods of the local community who are on recurrent seasons being affected by droughts and conflicts.
Education
GREDO provide initiative opportunities to the children aged 4-5 years, rehabilitate schools and basic primary education for children aged 6-12 years.
Nutrition
GREDO provides systematic treatment of acutely malnourished children and pregnant and lactating women by having access to and utilizing quality services for the management of acute malnutrition;
Peace building & Conflict Reconciliation
GREDO streamlines peace building and reconciliation on all programmatic interventions.
